Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at client sites, patrol premises, and ensure safety and order. The role requires standing for most of the workday and the ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

Shifts are Saturday to Monday 0700-1500 and Tuesday to Wednesday 1500-2300. Pay is up to USD 19.00 per hour. A NYS Security Guard License and a valid driver’s license are required, along with a High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 5–7 year U.S. work history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and preserves order; enforces regulations and directives for the site.
• Secures premises by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
