Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at a client site, perform patrols, and control access to facilities to protect property and personnel.

The role includes responding to emergencies and preparing logs and reports as required. Responsibilities encompass enforcing site regulations for staff and visitors, inspecting protection devices, and maintaining safety at the client site.

Qualifications

• Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, possibly for long periods, including stairs and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Conduct periodic patrols to check protection devices and fire control equipment and inspect for hazards and security violations.
• Control access to the client site through the admittance process and enforce regulations as needed.
• Respond to incidents such as fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other emergencies; prepare logs and reports.
