Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Joint Fires Network Engineer to support mission-critical defense communications and global network operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Active TS/SCI Clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• 4+ years in network engineering or NOC environments
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, MPLS, SDH/SONET, and optical transport

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations: configuration, monitoring, and analysis of circuits across routers, switches, and optical transport.
• Perform real-time circuit rerouting and network restoration during outages and maintenance events.
• Collaborate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and engineering tiers to ensure maximum network availability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network alarms using platform-specific tools and resolve incidents through full lifecycle management.
• Support change management activities including hardware replacements, software updates, and configuration adjustments
