Job summary

The School Psychologist at Amergis provides on-site psychological services to students, helping them with mental health and developmental needs within district guidelines. The role includes aiding in qualifying students for additional support services and working under state and district jurisdiction.

Candidates must hold current state licensure/certifications, have a master’s degree in psychology, and be at least 18. CPR and health clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment.
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population preferred.
• Master’s degree in psychology preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
• Assist in qualifying students for additional support services.
• Support students through mental health and developmental issues.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and district policies.
