Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a cost/schedule analyst for an on-site role in Clay, NY. You will help develop and maintain project schedules, assist with data collection from engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and support progress reporting to stakeholders.

The position targets candidates with 1–2 years of experience or 5–6 years in related work, with a basic understanding of scheduling concepts and strong attention to detail. Bechtel values growth, collaboration, and rigorous EPC processes.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of planning and scheduling concepts, with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools preferred.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent).
Support coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for scope and activity data.
Maintain schedule activities, durations, and logic relationships.
Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedule information into the project schedule.
Track and update schedule progress based on project team input.
Identify potential schedule variances, delays, or inconsistencies.
Prepare short-term lookahead schedules (e.g., 3-week rolling lookahead).
Prepare basic schedule reports and progress updates.
Participate in schedule review meetings and document action items.
