Job summary

MAC.BID seeks a Scanner Associate for an on-site full-time role in Akron, OH. The position involves preparing products for the scan team, moving items to the scanning area, and placing scanned items back in their bays according to auction lot numbers.

The job requires lifting up to 25 pounds alone (50 pounds with a team), basic tech savviness, and the ability to stand and walk for long periods. Training is provided and duties may include other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
