Business Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Safety & Health Specialist to support Carrier Corporation in Charlotte, NC. The role involves on-site work Fri–Sun 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM, focusing on safety and health program execution.

You will conduct hazard assessments, support regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, and deliver training to ensure safe work practices and PPE use. Join a team committed to excellence in safety and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or Nursing or equivalent experience.
• First Aid & BLS Certification Required
• OSHA 10 or 30 hour course
• 2-5 years experience in Occupational Safety and/or Health

• Site Specific Project Work: 70% Safety & 30% Health related activities; collaborate with Charlotte EHS leadership.
• Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: conduct inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance.
• Regulatory Compliance: support Carrier policies and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Incident Investigation: analyze accidents/illnesses to identify root causes and prevent repeats.
• Training & Education: deliver awareness and education to promote safe work practices and proper PPE use.
• Program Implementation & Evaluation: assist in implementing Carrier policies at the site and evaluate compliance.
