Job summary

Regional Supervising Physician Agency 131 is seeking a full-time physician to diagnose, treat, and oversee medical care for state custody residents. You will supervise staff, direct tests and treatments, and develop care protocols at the Lexington facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating mental health care, ensuring quality and compliance, and mentoring junior physicians and staff in a challenging on-site setting. Oklahoma licensing and board certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and unrestricted license to practice in Oklahoma.
• Board certification preferred; two years in a state facility or similar setting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete physical examinations of custody personnel.
• Direct laboratories, x-ray, prescribing treatment, and supervising care.
• Coordinate mental health care with psychiatrists/psychologists.
• Develop care protocols and participate in quality improvement.
