Job summary

RayzeBio is seeking a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor at its Indianapolis site. The role oversees daily microbiology activities supporting GMP radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring ALCOA+ data integrity, regulatory compliance, and on-time product release.

You will mentor QC analysts and coordinate with QA, Manufacturing, and Radiation Safety to ensure facility readiness. The position requires a BS in Microbiology or related life science, 5+ years in QC Microbiology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related life science.
  • Minimum 5+ years in QC Microbiology within a cGMP environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading teams preferred.
  • Experience with sterile manufacturing or radiopharmaceuticals is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, USP, EU GMP Annex 1 and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin testing.
  • Lead environmental monitoring and media qualification.
  • Review data, logbooks, and electronic records for ALCOA+ data integrity.
  • Ensure calibration, qualification, and expiry of lab equipment and reagents.
  • Coach QC analysts, assign workload, and support training.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, Facilities, Engineering, MS&T, and Radiation Safety.
  • Identify process improvements and support method lifecycle activities.
