Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to ensure product conformance to blueprints at our Berea, Ohio facility. You will inspect hardware with precision tools and review documentation to verify operations meet GD&T standards.

You will partner with Quality Engineers, support ERP data, and evaluate raw material certificates for compliance. On-site collaboration with internal teams will ensure continued control of materials and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Extensive experience in calibration and standards.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product conformity to blueprint.
• Inspect hardware using calipers, micrometers, comparator, height stand, indicator, profilometer, hardness tester, etc.
• Review work order for completion of operations and required documentations.
• Review ERP (JD Edwards) system for required retained information.
• Review raw material certificates and ensure conformity to industry or internal standards.
• Provide manufacturing technical support as GD&T subject matter expert.
• Support the Quality Engineers to ensure products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Interface with internal departments to engage in activities that ensure continuous control over material, services and products.
• Other duties as assigned.
