Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking an Apprentice Technician to join our Operations team in Holliston, MA. This on-site role supports assembly, repair, testing, and maintenance of pumps and related equipment while developing foundational mechanical and technical skills.

You will gain hands‑on training in pump assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, safety practices, and production support activities, contributing to daily manufacturing and service operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, vocational training, or coursework related to mechanical systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work.
• Experience using basic hand tools through school, hobby, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and torquing using hand and power tools.
• Assist with disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps and pump components under supervision.
• Conduct operational tests and inspections on completed equipment and record results.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for wear, damage, defects, or quality concerns and report findings.
• Learn troubleshooting techniques and support diagnosis of mechanical issues during assembly, repair, and testing.
