Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Pulp and Paper Technical Sales Intern to gain hands-on experience at our customers’ facilities. You will work on a real project, learn technical sales skills, and contribute to solutions in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

You'll pair with a mentor, develop analytical and communication abilities, and network with professionals while applying coursework in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Pulp & Paper, or Chemistry. Housing stipend may be available.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a STEM program with coursework related to chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, pulp & paper, or chemistry.
• Demonstrates safety culture and willingness to follow safety practices in a lab/industrial setting.
• Shows strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a willingness to learn and take on projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on work experience applying methods and theories learned in class
• Develop new skills and refine others, such as technical acumen, project management, communication, presentation skills, and business acumen
• Work on a specific customer project with tangible deliverables, demonstrating how our solutions meet their needs
• Pair with a Solenis mentor who will provide guidance and feedback during the internship
• Network with professionals in your field
