Job summary

Kreider Farms in Manheim, PA is seeking a Production Scheduler to coordinate purchasing, inventory, customer orders, and production needs on-site. This role collaborates with Logistics, Production, Egg Processing, Quality Assurance, vendors, and customers to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, inventory, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for all levels of staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily egg orders, transfers, and carton needs.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to maintain supply levels.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve order, supply, and scheduling issues.
• Support production scheduling and anticipate future inventory needs.
• Maintain accurate product and inventory information in company systems.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding orders and product requirements.
• Help manage product rotation, restocking, and inventory at egg locations.
• Use problem-solving to address issues before they impact operations.
