Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and customer safety and quality processes at all times.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout, assembly and welding, applying knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding methods.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts with cutting tools.
• Detect and respond to dangerous conditions and situations.
• Certification at one or more levels is required.
