Language Services Associates seeks Pashto-English interpreters in the Dulles, VA area to support LEP communities across settings. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will provide accurate language access and uphold professional standards.

LSA values confidentiality, reliability, and excellent customer service. Eligible candidates have 1+ year interpreting experience and may hold CMIs or CCHI certifications; transportation is required for onsite assignments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Pashto.
• Strong client-service orientation.
• 1+ year interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI).

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service at all assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional codes of conduct.
• Follow client policies and interpretation best practices.
• Comply with clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on-site for accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Have access to personal or public transport.
