Job summary

Capital Area Health Network (CAHN) seeks a Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality medical services in a community health setting in Richmond, VA. Under physician supervision, you will perform exams, diagnose conditions, order tests, and contribute to preventive care with a patient‑centered approach.

You will develop comprehensive management plans, educate patients, and work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure coordinated care. VA licensure and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• National Board Certification (PA-C).
• Virginia medical license.
• Active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality medical services under physician supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; implement treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the care team.
