Job summary

Information Management Group (IMG) is seeking a Network Technician to join our team in Navy Yard, Washington, DC. This on-site role requires a skilled professional with extensive cabling experience and the ability to install, terminate, and certify UTP and fiber cabling while adhering to industry standards.

The successful candidate will help develop, implement, and maintain workflow solutions to boost operational efficiency, support mission objectives, and contribute to IMG's organizational

Qualifications

• Active Secret or L security clearance.
• 5+ years’ experience in cabling or network technician work.
• Qualified to install, terminate, and conduct certification testing of Category 3, 5e, 6, and 6a UTP cable, multimode and single-mode fiber.
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B, 569, 606, 607, NFPA 70 standards.
• Proficient with Fluke DSX-8000 copper/fiber tester.
• Proficient with Fluke OFP-100-QI OptiFiber Pro OTD tester.
• Ability to write and speak clearly about technical topics.
