Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience.
• Experience with toddlers and school-aged children is essential.
• Early Childhood Development qualification is a plus.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Good understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Ability to engage children in learning activities.
• Proficiency in English.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and caring supervision for two children aged 3 and 6.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and play.
• Assist the older child with homework and learning tasks.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children.
• Manage children's daily routines, including naps, hygiene, and playtime.
• Maintain tidiness of children's areas and belongings.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's activities and progress.
• Foster positive social interaction and emotional development.
• Accompany children on outings and activities in Upington, Northern Cape.
