Livingston Development Ventures is seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial vehicles and heavy equipment across the Rochester region. The role requires travel in a fully equipped service truck, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and completing repairs safely and efficiently while communicating findings to clients and the Service Manager.

Must bring own tools and be able to operate the company vehicle.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing commercial vehicles, diesel engines, and heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Ability to safely operate a company service truck.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles and heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, cooling, brake, steering, and drivetrain issues.
• Complete engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, transmission, differential, and gear oil services.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, wheel bearings, belts, hoses, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, and other components.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform minor hydraulic repairs.
• Inspect equipment for safety concerns and recommend repairs before failures occur.
• Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports.
• Communicate equipment conditions and repair recommendations with clients and the Service Manager.
