Job summary

Cox Fleet by Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on a mobile/field fleet. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and document findings on Repair Orders using company tools.

Work requires strong safety awareness, the ability to manage parts and tools, and the capacity to drive and service fleets at customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant field experience.
• ASE T8 certification within 18 months or ongoing pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light–heavy trucks in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems as needed.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and documentation standards including RO uploads.
