Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a well-established Oxford, CT based manufacturing company. The role is on-site and focuses on supporting daily operations, improving production processes, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with the Senior Manufacturing Engineer and production personnel to drive improvements and maintain compliance with FDA and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
• Hands-on engineering support in manufacturing or production
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and identifying process issues
• Experience in process improvements, production efficiency and quality initiatives
• Strong documentation skills and ability to develop work instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on engineering support to daily manufacturing operations and address production issues
• Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and inefficiencies to minimize downtime and improve performance
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements for productivity and quality
• Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to resolve issues and support CI initiatives
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation
• Support process validation activities to ensure compliance with procedures and standards
• Assist with process development, equipment improvements, and floor layout optimization
• Evaluate processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and consistency
• Support equipment setup and implementation of process changes
• Coordinate engineering activities and project priorities with the Senior Manufacturing Engineer
• Ensure processes/documentation comply with FDA and ISO requirements
• Communicate challenges and improvement opportunities across teams
• Work independently to identify problems and implement solutions
• Support additional manufacturing engineering projects as needed
