Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Full Time, On-Site Mechanical Designer/Engineer in Shakopee, Minnesota to design and document mechanical components for vacuum pumps and controllers. You will collaborate with electrical engineering to integrate chassis and hardware and develop production-ready documentation for new product introductions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering/design, 2+ years in mechanical engineering, Creo CAD proficiency, ERP experience, and strong analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical design preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with vacuum products is a plus.
• Proficiency in Creo and ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

• Design and documentation of mechanical components for vacuum pumps and controllers.
• Create tooling design documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineering for chassis and hardware integration.
• Manage ECOs and CWRs and maintain documentation.
