Job summary

Roche is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, and maintain GxP-compliant records using CMMS.

The role supports engineering activities and requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical instructions. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and cross-functional teams to improve equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 5+ years troubleshooting and repair experience on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in manufacturing/industrial ops.
• Experience with Precision Maintenance practices and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ability to follow technical instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, resolving simple to medium-root cause issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Work independently or in teams; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate GxP-compliant maintenance records using CMMS and other software.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production to support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
