Job summary

ALS is hiring a Maintenance Technician in North Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on repairs and preventive maintenance of building systems and processing equipment, including HVAC units, grinders, and associated tools. On-site responsibilities require a hands-on approach, strong mechanical ability, and coordination with contractors.

The candidate should have a Grade 12 diploma and experience in building repairs, electrical/plumbing, carpentry, or painting. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Grade 12 diploma and experience with general building repairs.
• Experience with electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatics, carpentry, drywall or painting is assets.
• Forklift experience will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as HVAC units, blowers, scrubbers, jaw crusher, and ring mills.
• General building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles and painting.
• Light plumbing and carpentry work; welding.
• Work with contractors and/or suppliers; be available for on-call projects.
• Maintain logs/books and maintenance records/schedules.
