Job summary

Plastic Molding Manufacturing (PMM) seeks a Maintenance Technician for its South Bend, IN facility. The role focuses on maintaining plastic injection molding machinery, robots, chillers and related systems on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring repair quality. The ideal candidate has injection molding maintenance experience, reading blueprints, and solid English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Prior plastic injection molding maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot and inspect mechanical, electrical, electro‑mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots per specifications.
• Regularly check heater bands, rings and pulling screws/barrels.
• Safely use proper equipment to access jobs and install parts.
