Job summary

Mercy Housing seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager for Roseland Place in Chicago. You will supervise maintenance tasks, oversee budgets and vendor contracts, and collaborate with property management to prepare units for new residents.

The role is on-site, requires 3 years of skilled maintenance experience, and offers a competitive $30-32/hour pay range with a suite of benefits and generous PTO. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role at Roseland Place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
• Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
• Prepare units for new residents, including turnover work.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
• Coordinate and manage vendor contracts with the property management team.
