Job summary

Ahhmgt is seeking a Freedom BHU Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN for on-site work in Louisiana. The role involves communicating with the nursing team, assisting with activities of daily living, and encouraging patient independence.

The candidate must have a Practical/Vocational Nursing Program certification, hold an LPN/LVN license for the state, and have CPR and other registrations. One year of LPN/LVN experience is preferred; knowledge of DSM V and medical/psychiatric conditions is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification from approved Practical/Vocational Nursing Program
• Licensed as an LPN/LVN to practice in the state
• One year LPN/LVN experience preferred
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to read and follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Communicates with other members of the nursing team to fulfill the needs of the patients.
• Assists with activities of daily living and encourages independence as indicated.
• Documents findings and care provided in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Adheres to infection control and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
