Job summary

Talon Defense, Inc. is seeking a on-site Support Services Technician at Ft. Pickett, VA to coordinate fleet management, mail, courier, property accountability, and facility maintenance for the training center.

Responsibilities include tracking inventory per U.S. government regulations, leveraging Ariba, and occasional CONUS travel up to 25%. A high school diploma and five years of relevant experience are required, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with support services functions, practices and procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to drive government vehicles (up to 16 passengers).
• Proficient with MS Office or similar office applications.
• Physical ability to lift medium to heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fleet management, service coordination, dispatching, and lifecycle monitoring.
• Track receiving, stocking and issuing of items per U.S. government regulations.
• Monitor depletion of supplies and notify Program Manager for replenishment.
• Maintain storage areas in neat and clean condition.
• Assist with stock room and office supply functions.
• Monitor Ariba and related processes to close invoices and track property issuance.
• Travel to other CONUS training sites up to 25% of time.
