Job summary

A mental health service provider in California is looking for a therapist to provide individual and group therapy, focusing on clients with complex mental health needs. Qualifications

• Experience with schizophrenic, persistently mentally ill, homeless, and substance abuse populations.
• Detailed knowledge of counseling and group therapy theories.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Some experience and knowledge in working with trauma.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessment of identified patient.
• Utilizes specific therapeutic modalities for clients.
• Identify specific psychological interventions to assist clients.
• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Collaborate with community resources for client services.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
