Job summary

Alpha is hiring a full-time, on-site Tutor to lead life-skills workshops for a K-8 cohort and drive daily motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics. You will ensure students hit weekly learning goals and master each life skill.

Relocation support is provided. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years working with K-8 students are required, plus legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students (classroom teaching, tutoring, athletic coaching, camp leadership, or youth program work).
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives (currency, leaderboards).
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and re-coach until mastery.
• Adapt workshop playbook and build new sessions to reach different ages (kindergarten to 8th grade).
• Be the responsible adult who sets standards and is approachable for students.
