Job summary

FORTNA is seeking a Project Manager to own the scope, schedule and budget for material handling projects. This includes coordination with the internal project team, vendors, subcontractors and the customer, with on-site presence for the duration of installation.

The role focuses on managing projects up to $40M, ensuring effective communication across departments, scheduling engineering activities, and delivering solutions to installation and other mechanical issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the material handling industry or site project management related.
  • Experience managing a department or focused work team.
  • Experience with detailed scheduling.
  • Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments.
  • Experience managing a budget up to $40m.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects up to $40M budget.
  • Coordinate with internal project team, vendors, subcontractors and customer.
  • 50% time on project site.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • M ake tactical decisions and ensure their execution.
