Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician/Engineer to lead X-Ray and CT NDT operations in Luling, TX. This role involves developing procedures, mentoring the NDT team, and ensuring compliance with ASNT, NAS 410 and industry standards to guarantee product quality.

You will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to maintain high reliability across aerospace, defense, or manufacturing components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in NDT with at least 5 years in X-Ray and CT methods.
• Current NDT Level II certification in RT and CT per ASNT NAS/NAS 410 or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, ISO codes and display of NDT results.
• Experience with digital radiography, computed radiography, and CT imaging.
• Ability to train and mentor Level I/II personnel and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve X-Ray and CT NDT procedures and work instructions.
• Provide technical leadership for NDT operations and ensure customer/regulatory compliance.
• Oversee advanced inspections and interpret results to verify conformance.
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and safe operation of X-Ray/CT equipment.
• Mentor and evaluate Level I/II staff; deliver training programs.
• Maintain documentation, records, and detailed inspection reports.
