Job summary

WASH in San Diego is seeking an Installer to install and remove washers and dryers in apartment and condo complexes and customers' homes. You will also clean laundry rooms and perform light service work, thriving on independent work and strong mechanical aptitude.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a good driving record, and the ability to lift 50 lb regularly (200 lb with dolly). English communication skills are needed; bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good driving record and ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, and up to 200+ pounds with a dolly.
• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written).
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads washers and dryers onto and off trucks using a hand truck and lift gate.
• Connects and disconnects fill and drain hoses from washers; builds exhaust vents when needed.
• Moves washers and dryers to clean behind machines and performs light service work.
• Cleans floors around machines and maintains cleanliness of laundry areas.
• Reports necessary work to be done by skilled service technician.
