Job summary

Alpha reimagines how K-3 reading is taught using AI-adaptive applications and structured-literacy methods. You will design 20-minute small-group workshops from real-time data, focusing on phonemic decoding, fluency, and comprehension, while maintaining high engagement with students and parents.

As a on-site Reading Program Coordinator, you will lead daily motivation sessions, track progress through running records and campus analytics, and adapt instruction in real time to drive measurable gains

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification (Orton-Gillingham, LETRS, Wilson Reading System, IMSE, CERI, Neuhaus, UFLI, or equivalent) OR a Master's degree in reading instruction
• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of full-time K-3 structured reading instruction in a school or clinical environment within the past 5 years
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Creating small-group reading workshops for K-3 students based on real-time adaptive-app data, rooted in structured-literacy approaches (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, IMSE, or comparable)
• Conducting daily motivation sessions to ensure 100% of your students meet their weekly app objectives using Alpha's motivational system (campus currency, leaderboards, age-appropriate gamification)
• Analyzing AI-generated performance metrics to modify instruction mid-day
• Conducting running records, fluency probes, and decoding evaluations to generate growth visible in the weekly campus data analysis
• Serving as the engaging, high-energy adult your K-3 students anticipate seeing daily
