Job summary

Aramark Nexus at Caprock Workforce Community outside Pampa, Texas, seeks an Assistant IT Manager to oversee daily IT operations on-site for residents, staff, and visitors. You will work with the IT Manager and vendors to ensure reliable, responsive technology services.

We value hands-on technical skills, a customer-first mindset, and clear communication. The role supports end-user devices, networks, POS, IPTV, access control, and security systems in a hospitality-enabled residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in IT support, technology operations, desktop support, network support, systems support, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Support daily IT operations across Caprock Workforce Community.
• Assist the IT Manager with availability, performance, and reliability of site technology services.
• Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, end user devices, SaaS applications, connectivity issues, and general tech needs.
• Support network infrastructure, Wi‑Fi, IPTV, POS systems, access control, door lock systems, and other site technology platforms.
• Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Act as escalation support resource for residents, employees, vendors, and operations teams.
• Partner with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers to support resolution and service delivery.
• Help maintain a customer-first IT service culture focused on responsiveness, ownership, and follow-through.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and communicate updates clearly to all stakeholders.
• Support technology readiness for new areas, resident services, staff onboarding, and operational needs.
• Track recurring issues, risks, equipment needs, and opportunities to improve service.
• Support geographically dispersed technology teams as needed.
• Assist with documentation, inventory, equipment tracking, system access, and operational reporting.
• Supervise or support other Aramark team members when needed.
• Remain hands-on and available to support urgent site technology needs.
