Job summary

Providence's Covenant Health Plainview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Internal Medicine to provide patient care under physician supervision in the clinic setting located in Plainview, TX. The NP will work with established standards and practice guidelines to support physicians and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements include TX RN license with ARNP recognition, completion of an accredited NP program and acute care NP designation, plus several years of clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• 3 years professional nursing experience in a clinic setting.
• Texas RN license AND ARNP recognition through Texas Board of Nursing.
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner designation.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic following established standards and practices with minimal supervision.
