Job summary

Infusion Services of Tacoma is seeking an Infusion Pharmacist for a full‑time, on‑site role near Kent, WA. You will oversee infusion therapy preparation, dispensing, and monitoring, ensuring safe dosing and patient safety across diverse populations.

You will collaborate with prescribers and nurses, provide medication counseling, and support transitions from home to infusion sites. A PharmD and WA license are required; hospital or infusion pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree and WA pharmacy license.
• Strong clinical pharmacy skills with infusion experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital, infusion, or home infusion settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of infusion therapies.
• Verify orders, assess dosing and compatibility, and prepare sterile admixtures.
• Collaborate with prescribers and nurses to develop therapy plans.
• Counsel patients and caregivers, and support transitions of care.
• Maintain documentation, manage inventory and cold-chain storage.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance and participate in quality initiatives.
• Communicate professionally with patients and caregivers to address questions.
