Job summary

ITAC, a growing ESOP‑owned design‑build firm, seeks a Project Scheduler to support a portfolio of capital projects in a manufacturing environment. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and installation to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field with 5 years of scheduling experience (or 10 years without a degree) and proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field with 5 years scheduling experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or engineering environment, OR at least 10 years of relevant scheduling experience without a degree.
• Experience developing and managing schedules for industrial, manufacturing, capital, or facility improvement projects.
• Experience utilizing scheduling software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of project planning methodologies, critical path analysis, and resource-loaded scheduling.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for plant transformation and capital improvement projects.
• Create and manage integrated master schedules that align engineering, procurement, construction, and installation activities.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to identify schedule requirements and critical milestones.
• Track project progress and analyze schedule performance against established baselines.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and project risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and distribute schedule status reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress updates to project teams and leadership.
• Support forecasting efforts by analyzing schedule trends and evaluating impacts to project timelines.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor activities within the overall project schedule.
• Ensure schedule data is accurate, current, and aligned with project objectives.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide scheduling expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
