Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Glassboro, NJ seeks a Maintenance Electrician to support food manufacturing processes. The role focuses on maintaining electrical and control systems, documenting work, and ensuring equipment reliability on site.

You will work with Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics, perform preventive and corrective maintenance across networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC, and keep accurate records per work orders while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software and preventive maintenance software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain current documentation for electrical and control systems used in food manufacturing.
Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing electrical or control-related issues and coordinate maintenance activities.
Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts; perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance.
Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs while adhering to GMP and safety standards.
Ensure equipment maintenance aligns with production schedule and government regulations.
