Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an on-site role in Miami Beach, FL.

The position supports bedside delivery and daily pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, including cart exchanges, med prep, and narcotics handling. The role requires active Florida license (or intern), and a minimum of one year hospital experience, with national certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacy Intern License.
• National Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum at least one year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cart exchanges.
• Addresses pharmacy telephones/window communication with timely inquiries.
• Timely processes nursing messages from Epic in-basket.
• Process manual pick items as needed.
• Accurately handles dispense tracking, transports medications and supplies to appropriate areas.
• Restock/pick up/delivery of crash cart trays as per policy.
• Dispense and return Narcotics from CSM Vault.
• Accurately records and logs compounded items in the workflow.
