Job summary

WA-WP KF Lumber in Kettle Falls, WA is seeking a maintenance technician to join our on-site team. You will perform routine service tasks and support the shop with fluid checks, oil changes, and inspections.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-site work in a non climate controlled shop is required, with on-the-job training available for entry-level applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalant.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a non climate controlled shop environment.
• Prior formal training or certificate is a plus, but entry-level provide on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Change engine oil and filters to manufactures specifications.
• Check and top off transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids.
• Inspect tire pressure, adjust air levels, and preform tire rotations.
• Test and replace vehicle batteries, light bulbs, and wiper blades.
• Conduct multi-point safety inspections and report worn parts to senior staff.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist shop mechanics when needed
• Change and make hoses as needed.
