Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor for our Fort Wayne, IN location. This full-time, on-site role involves leading diverse group classes and maintaining high safety and service standards.

The position requires current CPR/AED, a nationally accredited aerobic cert, and yoga/Pilates certifications. You will uphold Crunch brand values, ensure clean training spaces, and actively promote additional classes to members and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Strong member service skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred).
• Valid Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior.
• Maintain professional disposition.
• Build rapport with members and guests.
• Follow club policies and procedures.
• Promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs.
• Attend required meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
