Job summary

Modern Industries is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II for 1st shift in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform installation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment to support site goals.

Requires a high school diploma/GED with apprenticeship or equivalent experience, plus an AA in maintenance and 4 years of manufacturing background. On-site role with full-time hours; OSHA familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED with a craft apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance plus 4 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to meet goals.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Carry out plumbing and carpentry tasks; report abnormalities to supervision.
