Job summary

Capitol Sprinkler and Fire Systems, LLC in Austin, TX is looking for a Fire Inspections Technician who will perform scheduled inspections and testing of fire sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and suppression systems to ensure compliance.

You will document results, identify deficiencies, and communicate recommendations to supervisors and clients, while occasionally assisting with minor service and supporting emergency response activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire protection equipment and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and life safety standards.
• Ability to read inspection reports and system schematics.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain additional fire life safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and tests of sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
• Document results and pinpoint deficiencies.
• Communicate findings to supervisors and clients.
• Assist with minor service work and support emergency response.
• Coordinate with installation and service teams to keep systems operational.
