Responsibilities include conducting repairs and ensuring the upkeep of facilities and equipment, prioritizing tasks that impact animal welfare. Applicants should possess some mechanical experience, be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and ideally be bilingual in English and Spanish. This is a full-time role requiring availability on weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Ability to repair and maintain various systems including ventilation, heating, and cooling.
Experience working independently and taking initiative.
Comfortable working in various facility environments.
Responsibilities
Complete all minor maintenance and repairs of swine facilities.
Utilize the ISF Tools work ticket system for tracking repairs.
Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency, especially relating to animal welfare.
