Job summary

Wellspring Talent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a healthcare organization in the San Antonio, Texas metropolitan area for an on-site Family Nurse Practitioner.

New graduates are encouraged to apply! You will provide care to patients across the lifespan, including examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions, while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered primary care.

Qualifications

• Current NP license and national certification as FNP in good standing.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• New graduates who have completed their FNP program and obtained the required certification and licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Clinical knowledge of family practice and primary care, including preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and adherence to clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or willingness to obtain them before starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient examinations across the lifespan.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Provide patient education and preventive care.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain clinical documentation.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and a team-based care environment.
