Job summary

Caelum Research Corporation seeks an experienced Facility Security Officer to manage security operations at White Sands Missile Range, NM. You will coordinate training, track personnel clearances, and work closely with government security reps and Caelum HQ to uphold the security program.

The role requires a DoD Top-Secret clearance, FSO training, and strong knowledge of NISPOM. You will report to the HQ FSO and ensure timely onboarding, debriefings, and compliance across the contract.

Qualifications

• Must maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgement with sensitive information.
• Completed the FSO program management for Non-possessing facilities and obtained required training certifications.
• At least 4 years of industrial security experience, preferably supporting U.S. Department of War organizations.
• Working knowledge of NISPOM with updated 32 CFR Part 117 guidelines.
• Experience working with DCSA and other government security organizations preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills including briefings and reports.
• Must maintain all required security eligibility, access, certifications, and training.
• Compliance with federal, government customer, contract, and Company security requirements.
• May require additional government-mandated security training or investigations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery and tracking of required security training for casual or temporary employees.
• Compile monthly/annual reports of training for submission to Security Officer.
• Track and report training status to ensure completion within 30 days of start date.
• Maintain monthly updates to WSMR Security Manager and COR with cleared personnel.
• Monitor security risks for Caelum personnel in coordination with government security.
• Communicate security matters to HQ FSO in a timely manner.
• Follow HQ FSO guidance on company-wide policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with government security regarding contract-specific matters.
• Keep HQ FSO informed of significant security matters and incidents.
• Support security inspections, audits, and investigations as needed.
• Assist HQ FSO with government security reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain security records for the contract and facility.
• Ensure personnel are informed of security requirements.
• Identify and report potential violations or concerns to WSMR site security and HQ FSO.
• Conduct security briefings, trainings, and debriefings in coordination with HQ FSO.
