Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team supports over 500 customers in biopharma, pharma, education, and industry with flexible lab operations and end-to-end services.

The role focuses on managing inventory, adhering to cleanroom protocols, and solving problems to keep Fab operations running smoothly. Collaboration with engineers and technicians is essential for quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Spill containment training, IMDG, LOTO, and OSHA Right to Know experience/certifications a plus.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate within Class 1 cleanroom environments, following safety and contamination control protocols.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure packaging meets regulatory and customer requirements.
• Manage consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned, and 3rd-party inventory on-site.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and provide daily customer service to ensure uninterrupted Fab operations.
• Monitor and process orders using Intel’s ordering system.
• Meet safety, quality, and revenue goals.
• Deliver production materials to Fab and Sub-Fab locations.
• Interface with Intel Engineers on material order requirements and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling of chemicals and materials per Intel standards.
• Track material requests in the Intel SharePoint system for timely maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on Sub-Fab machines per process and safety protocols.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will report to the supervisor of site services and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Hourly Rate: $21

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Shift: 7 am - 7 pm, Sunday - Tuesday, and every other Wednesday

What We’re Looking For

• Support cost-saving initiatives and provide daily customer service to ensure uninterrupted Fab operations.
• Monitor and process orders using Intel’s ordering system.
• Meet safety, quality, and revenue goals.
• Manage and deliver production materials and consumables to locations throughout the Fab and Sub-Fab.
• Interface with Intel Engineers and Technicians on material order requirements and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and transfer of chemicals and materials in accordance with Intel standards.
• Leverage Intel-supplied systems to oversee inventory and monitor material consumption efficiently.
• Track material requests in the Intel SharePoint system to guarantee timely delivery for preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance on Sub-Fab machines while strictly adhering to Intel’s process and safety protocols to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Partner with other team members to safely and efficiently carry out preventative maintenance on tools, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Conduct inventory audits and oversee stock management across Fab and Sub-Fab locations to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency.
