Job summary

Greenberry Industrial is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead for its Jennings, LA fabrication shop, focusing on piping, structural steel, and pressure vessel projects. This role partners with shop leadership and project management to establish budgets, monitor performance, and deliver financial visibility throughout fabrication.

The ideal candidate will forecast project financials, support production reporting, and maintain control over costs from estimating handoff through closeout,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project controls or cost controls within industrial fabrication.
• Experience supporting piping, structural steel, and pressure vessel projects.
• Strong understanding of budget development, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project budgets aligned with approved estimates and work packages.
• Monitor and report project performance against budget for direct labor, materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted services, shop overhead.
• Develop and maintain earned value metrics and productivity tracking for fabrication activities.
• Prepare and update Cost-to-Complete (CTC), Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), revenue projections, and cash flow forecasts.
• Identify and communicate cost overruns, productivity trends, schedule impacts, and financial risks.
• Monitor fabrication progress for piping systems, structural steel assemblies, and pressure vessel projects.
