Job summary

The Freeman Company in Philadelphia seeks an experienced Fabricator/Carpenter to build custom exhibit and event components in a fast-paced shop. You will interpret drawings, cut and finish materials, and support full installation projects for corporate clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a carpenter, fabricator, cabinet maker, or related trade.
• Experience in custom fabrication for exhibits, cabinetry, or millwork preferred.
• High school diploma required; carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, assemble, and finish materials using hand and power tools.
• Fabricate custom exhibit and display components to meet design specs.
• Work with wood, laminates, acrylics, solid surfaces, PVC, and metal.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble and install fixtures, cabinetry, frames, and structural components.
• Participate in onsite installations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized shop environment.
• Overtime as needed to support schedules.
